EXCELLENCE 

Do you know what you get when you combine positive culture with a focus on instruction? It's excellence. Excellence is more than just the achievement score on the school report card though. Excellence is students who are flourishing. The whole reason I chose to be an educator is that education leads to excellence. It allows us to reach our goals, whether that be related to careers and having the achievement and coursework completed to pursue traditional aspirations such as doctors and lawyers or what we've learned more recently about the power of career technical and job-based training. But its also having healthy habits of mind and the ability to self-regulate and self-care so that healthy relationships can be built or maintained whether those be professional, social, familial, and with ourselves.
